YOUR SUPPORT IN ACTION

For over 25 years, MENTOR New York has been the go-to resource for building sustainable and mutually-beneficial mentoring programs.

Generous supporters like you ensure that MENTOR New York is able to:

  • start mentoring programs in schools, community centers, nonprofits, corporations and everywhere else that young people live, learn, work and play.

  • train professionals how to run and expand their mentoring programs to better serve young people.

  • provide no-cost consulting to mentoring program leaders to improve quality and solve challenges.

  • connect professionals from across the mentoring field through conferences, round tables and other peer sharing forums.

“MENTOR NY has been able to build up a roster of folks that can share their experiences at this time and that’s been very beneficial...to be able to connect with other people across the region who are engaged in similar work and to be able to learn best practices as well as being able to talk about the similar issues we’re all having.”

- Jared Shortmeier, Admin Director / Program Manager CHIME Administrative Director, Empire State Youth Orchestra

“Being able to get on the [MENTOR NY] webinars and finding out more information and different ways to keep our mentees and mentors engaged, as well as finding out different resources for us... [MENTOR NY] has helped us evaluate how we can make it more engaging and more fun as well as best practices when it comes to being a virtual program.”
