GIVE THE GIFT
OF MENTORING

There is no shortage of need when we look at the aftermath of the pandemic; the impact on the NY Mentoring Movement tells this tale all too well.

Funding cuts, loss of staff and capacity, limited access to technology, and restrictions to services have left those in the NY Mentoring Movement at a deficit. These challenges need intentional intervention, support, and renewed investment to serve the many young people whose mentoring relationships were prematurely terminated or interrupted.

MENTOR New York is dedicated to revitalizing the NY Mentoring Movement. Our job in the next school year and into 2022 is to rebuild what was lost: staffing and infrastructure, funding streams, direct services for young people, spaces of safety and joy, and so much more. But we can't do this without you!

BECAUSE OF YOU...

Your gift to MENTOR New York has the power to impact thousands of young people across NY.

Right now, 1 in 3 young people are growing up without a mentor of any kind. You are key to ensuring that over 500,000 young people in New York will gain access to mentors wherever they live, learn, work, and play.

Because of you, a young person could have a mentor. Donate today!

THE POWER OF YOUR GIFT

Your investment in MENTOR New York goes the distance by impacting hundreds of young people.

By working on a macro-level, MENTOR New York is uniquely positioned to assess widespread challenges, collaborate to develop solutions, and scale those interventions to reach across the entire state to communities, organizations, companies, and schools where mentoring happens.

How we do this? MENTOR NY supports building the capacity and expertise of youth development and mentoring program practitioners and their mentors to make greater impact in the lives of the young people they serve. For every adult MENTOR NY serves, an exponential number of young lives are impacted.
