Get Involved

There are many ways to foster a culture of mentoring in your community—and we're here to help. MENTOR New York can connect you to volunteer, professional, and advocacy opportunities that leverage your talents and passions in ways that best support youth.

Find a Mentor

Mentoring is all about connections, relationships, and opening doors of opportunity. MENTOR New York partners with over 1300 mentoring programs across New York State, to pair mentees with a program that's right for them.

Are you looking for a mentor for someone you care about? We can help! Use the Mentoring Connector to learn more about the different types of programs available in your area. Reach out to us if you have questions or need a little extra support.

Join the Mentoring Field

There are various paths to becoming a part of the mentoring movement, from attending a training event to initiating your own program. Do you see a gap in your school, company, or community where mentoring could benefit young people? Our team of experts can help you get started. You can also join MENTOR New York's Network Hub to gain access to resources, community discussions, and much more.

Advocate for Mentoring

The portfolio of issues tied to mentoring continues to grow on Capitol Hill. Supporters of mentoring can use their skills to advocate for policies that will support youth-serving initiatives at the local, state, and national levels.
