About the Event
The Leadership Roundtable on Mentoring and Covid Bereavement will explore the impact of the pandemic on the mentor-mentee relationship, with a particular focus on the experience of bereavement due to Covid. This facilitated conversation will bring together mentoring practitioners interested in understanding and supporting the unique challenges faced by mentors and mentees who have suffered loss, including the loss of loved ones, rites of passage, and other meaningful experiences that have been affected by the pandemic.
We are proud to partner with Tuesdays Children, an organization that supports individuals and families impacted by traumatic events, including bereavement. Their expertise and resources will be invaluable assets to the conversation, helping attendees to deepen their understanding of the impact of Covid on the bereavement process.
The Leadership Roundtable is an invite-only event where every attendee has an equal opportunity to participate and engage in the conversation. The objectives of the roundtable are to create community and networking connections between mentoring practitioners working in similar spaces, share practices and approaches to deepen and scale work and impact, elevate network members, facilitate discussion to learn where programs could use more resources or specific areas of support, and create future learning agendas to continue to innovate and influence the mentoring field at large.
