NYC Mentoring Coalition

MENTOR New York is partnering with NYC Service to provide NYC Mentoring Coalition members with all the latest research, best practices and tools available to manage a quality mentoring program. We are committed to providing high quality training and technical assistance to enhance the resources and services NYC community based organizations and mentoring programs have to serve more youth throughout NYC.

What is the NYC Mentoring Coalition?

The NYC Mentoring Coalition is a group of nonprofit and City agency partners dedicated to strengthening mentoring across New York City. By 2020, we plan to reach 40,000 high school students on an annual basis. The group meets quarterly, and is led by a partnership between NYC Service, the Center for Youth Employment, Young Men's Initiative, NYC Department of Education, and the Department for Youth and Community Services.

All NYC Mentoring Coalition members can take advantage of up to 25 hours of no cost technical assistance mentoring programs or organizations wishing to start a mentoring program. This work allows MNY to serve as unpaid consultants to your organization, tackling the issues that are most relevant and challenging to you.
